Founder and President
Lorena María Arnold is the Founder of Hola Images, and serves as its President. Immersed in the stock photography industry for over 11 years, Ms. Arnold is driven to lead Hola Images as the premier resource for Latino creativity. She oversees the development and implementation of Hola Images' strategic course.
After studying photography at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Lorena Arnold began her career as an Account Executive for Getty Images in Los Angeles, where she managed key advertising agency accounts and became one of the top negotiators in licensing Rights- Managed imagery. As Director at Workbook Stock, she launched the stock imagery business unit from its inception. Throughout her 10 years at the stock image portal, Lorena has been an essential asset in representing the company and developing its business strategies. She has initiated and implemented worldwide distribution channels for image collections. She maintains relationships as the main contact with domestic and international distributors including Getty Images, Photolibrary, Mauritius, and Wide Group, among 33 other distributors of Rights-Managed and Royalty-Free collections. Her networking within the stock industry has formed lasting business connections throughout the world.
Lorena María is proud of her origins. It has always been her dream to merge her passion for the Hispanic community with her love of photography. Born in California to a Puerto Rican mother and a Caucasian father from Bakersfield, she has a passion for her heritage, visiting her family in Puerto Rico no less than twice a year. Although Lorena is Puerto Rican-American, her cousins insist that she is 95% Puerto Rican. She gives directions by pointing you to the panadería at the corner instead of using street names, dances salsa, and loves eating lechón with morcilla.
